Occupational Hazard

One of the best parts of what I do is meeting with highly-creative types who inspire me beyond measure. However, this inspiration often leads to perspiration, and that is where I find myself today.

After a fantastic meeting with a fellow freelancer yesterday, I'm inspired to re-write my website, which shouldn't be a big deal. Except that it is.

I have the ability to write copy for other businesses, and enjoy the flow of words. In fact, the words often come to me so easily that I get to be selective with which ones I choose. But not with my own stuff. Cue writer's block.

But I know myself well enough to impose a deadline. And so, I aspire to generate new copy for this old dog within one week.

I'll keep you posted. And if you haven't heard from me after a week, you'll know I'm bogged down in my office staring at a blank computer screen.
