I get asked about social media use a lot. Actually, A LOT. People want to know which demographics are using the various platforms. There's no easy answer; as soon as you think you've got it figured out, it changes. Each night I go to bed feeling like I have a handle on social media use, and each morning I wake up only to learn that things have shifted.

But, it's likely no surprise that Instagram is taking the world by storm for the 35 and under demographic. I recently listened to a mind-bending interview with one of the founders, who shared the story of how the social media giant came to be. I wanted to learn more, and so I did.
