Allow Me To Tell You a Story...
A major part of my work is to tell people's stories. This takes a variety of shapes- from websites, to resumes, bios, and scripts. Sometimes the stories are easy to tell, and sometimes they're a bit more challenging. I consider this an incredible honor; to be asked to articulate the values, beliefs, and backstory of a person, company or vision is immensely rewarding, humbling, and terrifying. I have to get it right. There is no other option.
Over the years, I've been privileged to tell the Alatheia Riding Center story. Our relationship started several years ago when I was asked to help them draft a strategic plan to guide them toward expansion. That evolved into a series of videos designed to share the incredibly moving stories of their riders, volunteers, and overarching vision. To get to know these riders and volunteers, and learn their powerful stories, is a gift.
This latest video is different. This piece tells the story of how Alatheia came to be. I've known this story since my first encounter with the founders, and I've been eager to share it with the world. If you aren't familiar with the work happening at Alatheia Riding Center, take a moment to watch this. You won't soon forget it.
